Our programs, depending on the package chosen, begin with a first night at Les Collines* in an air-conditioned bungalow suited for your family. Upon arrival, we’ll explain the jungle trekking process, safety instructions, and answer all your questions. We understand that your vacation is precious and must be unique and memorable! That’s why our team will always be attentive to your needs.
The level of the trek will be assessed with you to tailor a coherent and enjoyable immersion without putting you in difficulty. We will provide you with a trekking package (water bottles, snacks, packed meals, walking stick, jungle jacket and gaiters, shoes and jackets depending on size). We will handle all sleeping logistics including hammock or tent, sleeping bag, dinner and breakfast in the forest. You will then enjoy a traditional Thai dinner prepared by our chef in a friendly setting. The next day, after a hearty homemade breakfast, we will head out early to the park. Our team includes a certified wildlife guide, a bilingual (French/English) jungle expert also trained in emergency care, and authorized forest rangers. Trek distances range from 5 to 15 km and are determined with you based on your preferences, age, and condition. Expect 3 to 6 hours of walking per day. We adapt each hike to your pace.
At the end of the walk, where we may encounter gibbons (and sometimes turtles, spiders, snakes, bears, macaques, wild boars, hornbills, elephants), we’ll enjoy a well-deserved meal. If this first trek felt a bit challenging, we’ll adjust the next day's itinerary to ensure your discovery of the park remains enjoyable. Our goal is for you to experience the jungle in the best conditions. Please note that wildlife observation depends on many factors — environmental, seasonal, and your ability to remain discreet.Some spots in the park provide optimized chances to see certain species, although these areas are accessible by car and are open to mass tourism.
The afternoon will be spent crossing other regulated or restricted forest areas before reaching our campsite. Depending on your preferences, your ability to hike in the jungle, and the permits obtained, we may bivouac in authorized restricted areas.
Depending on the season, you may have to cross rivers and tree roots, and walk around 5 hours before settling in for the night in a designated bivouac zone of the forest reserve. We’ll dine by the campfire and explore the surroundings at night in search of nocturnal animals. We’ll try to spot deer and porcupines.We’ll also set up infrared cameras to discover, at dawn, which large animals came to visit during the night.
Sometimes the nights are calm… sometimes not. We may encounter porcupines or hear movement around us... Please note that all our bivouac zones are secured by their natural layout. Our team and forest rangers are equipped to ensure your safety at all times.With 20 years of jungle experience and in-depth knowledge of Thailand’s endemic wildlife, our passion ensures that every trek respects nature. We guarantee an ethical and immersive trek conducted with full safety. Unlike some tourist operators, we never take risks just for a souvenir photo and will not approach wildlife if the conditions are not ideal. The wellbeing of the animals, the environment, and your family is our non-negotiable priority.
Breakfast will be accompanied by birdsong and the calls of gibbons. We will then pack our backpacks and begin the return journey, crossing meadows and jungle, encountering more wildlife along the way.
Depending on the season, we may also enjoy a swim in hidden waterfalls deep in the jungle, untouched by crowds!
